O munic\u00edpio mais pr\u00f3ximo de Paulistana \u00e9 Acau\u00e3, a 12 km. Sua \u00e1rea \u00e9 de 1.752 km\u00b2 representando 0,69% do estado, 0,11% da regi\u00e3o e 0,02% de todo o territ\u00f3rio brasileiro.</span></p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; \">Sua funda\u00e7\u00e3o aconteceu em 15 de Dezembro de 1938 e, atualmente (2021-2024), \u00e9 governada por Joaquim J\u00falio Coelho, o Joaquim da Farm\u00e1cia (PSD).
